Open Call

How it works

> The Open Call is addressed to Italian and European citizens between 18 and 50 years old who work with sound, as artists or professionals in the music industry.

> Participation in the training courses is free of charge and subject to limited availability. For Italian participants, the organisation will not provide any financial or logistical reimbursement for the route to and from  KORA, the designated venue for courses and workshops. However, lunch will be provided through a catering service arranged specifically for participants.

> A total of ten European and/or Swedish participants will be admitted; however, only five of them will receive a fixed financial contribution. The selection will be made at the sole discretion of the evaluation team, and its decision shall be final and not subject to appeal.

> For the five Swedish and/or European citizens awarded the financial contribution, expenses for travel, accommodation, and lunch will be covered from October 6–10 in Castrignano De’ Greci, near  KORA.

> The contribution budget is managed by Musichelp.

> These are limited-enrollment and free-of-charge activities. Candidatures coming from disadvantaged people will have special consideration in the selection process.  Sud Sonico will analyse all the candidatures and confirm the participation of each individual via email.

> If you wish to participate, please complete the designated application form no later than the 25th August 2025. If your profile is selected, you will receive an email from Sud Sonico containing organisational and logistical instructions on the project and the program.

> Attendance is mandatory for at least 80% of the course. At the end of the activities, participants will receive a certificate of attendance together with a range of free practical resources to support further exploration of the topics covered.

> Masterclasses and workshops will be held at KORA,  from 10 am to 1 pm and from 3.30 to 6.30 pm, from the 7th to the 10th October 2025. Further information can be found at this link (hyperlink pagina LEARN del sito mega)

> Group Workshops (October 8–9): participants are encouraged to engage in group work; however, the possibility of developing projects individually is also permitted.

> Subject to participants’ prior consent, the creative works produced during the workshops will be publicly presented during AVANT Festival 2025 in Lecce, and will be digitally disseminated in the RESOURCES section of the website mega-project.net.
